The Level Up and Learn Campaign

成人快播 Charlotte has partnered with , a local Hip Hop and R&B radio station dedicated to keeping millennials informed about what is going on in Charlotte and surrounding areas, to officially kick off the Level Up and Learn Book Drive Campaign.

Radio personality Nikki Davis, known as Ya Girl Nikki on air, has joined the campaign because of her interest in聽expanding her mentorship聽of the youth in Charlotte. This great partnership has ensured quarterly book drives for our 成人快播 students and Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools! During each academic quarter, we host themed book drives and encourage the Charlotte community to donate gently-used or new books for K – 4th-grade students.

Spreading the word

As a result of campaign growth, our efforts in the fight to conquer this literacy crisis in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools sparked buzz in聽a variety of media outlets. Creative Loafing Charlotte featured the Level Up and Learn campaign in 鈥溾��, discussing how Nikki Davis strives to reach a higher percent reading proficiency among K-4th-grade students.听

By May, we hope to provide 500 books to the seven Title I schools that 成人快播 Charlotte serves and inspire a new wave of volunteers to help kids who struggle with reading. During this quarter, we encouraged students to believe 鈥渞eading is FUN,鈥� through the . During this tour, Nikki Davis visited several elementary and middle schools to speak about the importance of a future built on literacy.

At the end of the second academic quarter, the Charlotte region received a total of 1386 books in donations and launched a new campaign, to boost our number of volunteers for each reading center. Help us reach our goal by signing up to .听
