Texas Instruments employees know much more than semiconductors and processors; they know that without strong literacy skills early on, elementary school students often fall behind in content-based subjects like science and math.

Thanks to the dedication of TI employees over the past school year, numerous struggling readers benefitted from the support that one-on-one literacy tutoring provides. This spring, 18 TI employees adopted Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary School in West Dallas and consistently worked with a cohort of students on that campus, contributing more than 80 hours of service. This investment from TI has been invaluable to De Zavala students; not only did we see a marked improvement in their literacy skills, but as they learned to read, their confidence grew!

TI has truly invested in ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed. Beyond the generous contribution of employee time,聽we are thrilled to announce TI recently awarded 成人快播 a generous $20,000 grant in support of our Dallas program.聽Additionally, one of TI鈥檚 new employee community involvement teams is hosting a book drive for 成人快播’ students this month. The new and gently used books collected from this drive will help replenish our Take Reading Home libraries at our new and existing Reading Centers in the fall.
