Children who cannot read proficiently by the fourth grade are four times less likely to graduate on time鈥攈indering their chances to succeed in college, career, and in life.

And here’s an alarming statistic… In Washington, 8 out of 10 fourth graders from low income families cannot read at grade level.

The good news is that there is an organization that is working hard to boost reading levels in school. We’re talking about 成人快播.

成人快播聽is a national nonprofit literacy organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to provide one-on-one reading tutoring to students in under-resourced schools across the country.
