After nine years of serving students as 成人快播 Twin Cities, 成人快播 is growing to meet the urgent needs of our community and becoming 成人快播 Minnesota.

鈥淎s we enter our 10th year of programming, 成人快播 is proud to become a literacy solution for more students,鈥� said executive director Brooke Rivers. While 成人快播 will continue to serve and focus on supporting students in Minneapolis and St. Paul, 成人快播 Minnesota is expanding our footprint through both our traditional and Powered by 成人快播 programming. 鈥淥ur growth is taking us to new geographies: first, ring suburbs such as Columbia Heights and Roseville, and secondly into Greater Minnesota in partnership with Faribault Public Schools.鈥�

成人快播 serves as a structured, evidence-based option in our community鈥檚 toolbox to empower young students to read, think critically, and develop a lifelong love of learning and literacy. 成人快播 empowers students to develop mastery of key reading skills through data-informed, curriculum-driven, one-on-one tutoring led by trained volunteer tutors. Student-tutor pairs work together for 45 minutes twice per week, following a curriculum based in the science of reading.

鈥淏y becoming 成人快播 Minnesota, we are focused on innovating and expanding our high-impact literacy support services to serve more Minnesota students and families who may not have access to resources like private tutoring,鈥� shared Rivers. 成人快播 Minnesota will reach and impact more students through the growth of our in-school traditional model, innovation in our partnership work collaborating with afterschool programs, and expansion into a statewide solution for our students, all while keeping our focus on student results.

Rivers started as the organization鈥檚 founding program director before stepping into the executive director role. 鈥淲hen we launched our programming 2015, we started with a small team and built a grassroots group of volunteers who cared deeply about supporting students on their reading journeys. We wouldn鈥檛 be here today without the support of thousands of volunteers delivering over 100,000 tutoring sessions. In order to close the literacy opportunity gap, we鈥檙e going to need Minnesota to show up and help us build a brighter future for our community.鈥�
